Bangalore is undoubtedly the IT capital of
India. But that does not imply that only IT giants have their offices in this
city. Different big and small, national and international banks, hotels, TV
channels, retails etc too have their offices in Bangalore. Almost all national
and multinational companies have their largest branches here, if not the head
quarters. Naturally, thousands of jobs are generated every year. This has
resulted in huge demand for offices in Bangalore.
Though areas like Whitefield and Koramangala
used to be the commercial district of the city, but today Bangalore has
expanded so much in all dimensions that it has become virtually impossible to
designate one particular area as one. Apart from these two areas, Indiranagar,
Domlur, Hosur Road, Outer Ring Road, MG Road etc too have enormous business
parks that houses hundreds and thousands of offices in Bangalore. These
business parks and centers offer plush and state of the art serviced fully
equipped offices, However, if you want a permanent solution, you can always go
for vacant office spaces. Best way to get one is by posting ad in classifieds,
replying to the ads posted in these classifieds or consulting real estate
agents specialized in commercial properties.
If you are short on budget, you can either go
for serviced offices for short term till you get a better option or look for
offices in Bangalore suburbs or little interior. Unlike office space in Gurgaon
or Mumbai, offices in these parts of the city are not sky rocket in terms of price.
With your initial capital and little help from banks or other financial
organizations, you can own or rent a little office which you can furnish on
your own. Don’t make any extravaganza. If you work can in modest atmosphere
with minimal and bare basic facilities, you can invest part of the remaining
capital in other aspects because at the end of the day, it is your work that
will speak for you.
But when you are looking for offices in
Bangalore, you need to keep certain things in mind. First of all, no matter
where your office is, it should be well connected with the city. It is
essential for both your clients and staffs. Also, certain facilities should be
nearby like post office or courier office, decent eating joints, taxi stand
etc. And when you are buying or taking an office property on rent, talk about
number of parking spaces allotted to you. If you don’t get adequate spaces,
make sure there are provisions for road side parking. Imagine the embarrassment
you may undergo, if an important client visits your office and gets irked due
to lack of parking space. Once you are sorted with these trivial issues, you
can run your new office with full vigor and energy.
